Why Bar Stools, Bill?

Yes, there is a story behind Bar Stool Bill. You see, one year for an anniversary gift, Bill told his wife to go out and buy those seven new bar stools she had dreamed of for so long. Happily, his wife went shopping…and shopping…and shopping. The first store she visited had three different styles of bar stools, but none of them were HER style. The second store she went to offered a selection of five bar stools, but it did not have seven of any of them in stock, nor were the employees willing to order her seven bar stools. The third store she dragged herself into…well, Bill would not have liked those prices one bit.

And so she shopped, and she shopped, and she shopped. She tried the furniture stores. She hit the department stores. She spent a lot of money on gas and spent a lot of time looking, but she still came up empty handed. The quest for the perfect bar stools was becoming quite tiresome. The next anniversary rolled around, but poor Bill’s wife did not yet have her new bar stools. Bill was feeling bad about it, too.

Bill's wife became inspired. She wanted to “build” a store just for Bar Stools. Her purpose was to create a store which offers great selection, reasonable prices and delivery to the customer’s door step. Of course, Bill and his wife wanted this store to offer the convenience for shoppers to “browse” through bar stool choices in the comfort of their own homes.

We won’t be lounging around our counter until we have you happy on your new bar stools in your home!  (Well, we might take occasional breaks.)

Oh…about Bill’ wife…Yes, she got some mix-matched bar stools before Bar Stool Bill was established—two at an estate sale and four at a flea market. (Yes, that is only six bar stools.) Loading them into the car was not much fun for her, either. Next time, and there will be a next time, she’ll click on to Bar Stool Bill.
